What are the similarities and differences between...

Ever thought to yourself, â€Å"Why do people practice the Judaism, Christianity, and Islamic faith?† or, â€Å"What are the similarities and differences between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism?† Well Christianity, Islam and Judaism are all similar religions in some ways but are also very different from each other in other ways as well. Some things that are similar and different are the holy books, the symbol of faith, and the house of worship. All three religions have a holy book. But the holy books are different. Jews holy book is the Torah or, the Hebrew bible which was given by God to Moses at Mount Sinai. The Torah contains the old testament, and the first five books of Moses. Christians holy book is the Bible which also contains the old†¦show more content†¦Yes, all three religions have a symbol of faith, but however, each of them represents different meanings. Where do Jews, Christians, and Muslims usually pray? These three religions have a house of worship where they can sit down and pray. But however, the houses are different and build differently for their satisfaction and comfort. Jews pray in a synagogue which is also like a temple. These temples are built facing Jerusalem with long halls for prayer. Synagogues can also have smaller rooms for studies and sometimes a social hall for occasions as well as offices for bookkeeping. For Christians, they pray in normal churches. Most churches, especially older ones, are built in the slope of the cross. Muslims house of worship is a Mosque. Mosques are built with no furniture, no painting or statues. Its just a big empty room where Muslim can sit on the floor and pray. When entering a Mosque, shoes are required to be taken off. When men and women pray, they are separated into two different rooms. All three religions pray in a house, that is a correct. But, the way the houses are built for th em to pray are different.
